This Kit provides a hearing impaired person with visual ring detection when the phone is ringing. Whenever the phone rings the lamps that are plugged in to the included Lamp Modules will turn on and off. The Lamp Modules must be set to code P16. The TeleMaster issues P16 ON and OFF commands each time the telephone rings turning the selected lamps on and off. The TeleMaster is very helpful to a hearing impaired person, but the TeleMaster can also turn your phones in or outside your home into remote controllers for lighting, and all your appliance needs! Imagine turning on your home's lights, or turning on any desired appliance on your drive home from work by simply dialing your home number and dialing a code. Calling from outside one's home requires a 4-digit security code, but once inside the home, the code is no longer required and you can issue commands and control any lights or appliance modules you want. Simple to install. Just plug in the TeleMaster into any phone jack, connect the Powerline Interface, and instantly use all phones in your home as remote controllers for your lights and appliances. TeleMaster is fully compatible with voice mail, call waiting, and answering machines. Simple to operate. Dial normally to make phone calls. For remote control of light and appliance modules, press * for ON or press # for OFF, followed by a number. For example, from within the house, dialing *26 turns receiver B6 ON. You can control your home devices up to 256 codes. Lamp modules and dimmer wall switches may be remote dimmed and brightened by sending the appropriate ON command and not releasing the last button of the command string.
