This water filter is the same as the countertop filter, but to save counter space, it can be easily mounted under the counter. Includes faucet, EZ faucet connector, high pressure polyethylene tubing, mounting bracket, and a housing wrench. Quick-connect fittings make installation a snap. Cartridge has an integrated 1 micron absolute pre-filter that can capture cysts (cryptosporidium, giardia), (1 micron is 1/25,000 of an inch, a human hair is about 100 microns in diameter). Rated to treat 12,000 gallons. Includes chlorine test strips to verify when it's time to replace cartridge.
